Prof. Dr. Pervez Ahsan, born 13th August 1960 in a respectable Muslim family. His father Abdul Kader Fakir was a high official worked in Central Bank of Bangladesh & mother was a school teacher. Dr. Pervez has two sisters & one brother. All of them are very of their field.
Prof. Dr. Pervez started his educational life at BAF Shaheen College, Dhaka. He completed his SSC & H.SC from Mirzapur Cadet College successfully. He completed MBBS from Chittagong Medical College at 1986.
Dr. Pervez was an elected member of CMC student union for two times.
Dr. Pervez having graduated in Medicine in 1986 from Chittagong Medical College. He has pursued his career in the field of Orthopedics and completed his Diploma in Orthopaedic 2001 and MS in same subject from National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedic Rehabilitation under University of Dhaka in 2007. Throughout life, he has devoted his time and efforts to serve the orthopedic & trauma patients from periphery to tertiary level. He joined government service 20th December, 1989. After that he joined in Ibn Sina Medical College as Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic surgery in 1st October 2009.
Dr. Pervez Ahsan focuses on minimally invasive muscle and tendon-sparing techniques, including direct anterior approach hip replacement and minimally invasive total knee replacement that allow patients to go home sooner and return to their normal activities quicker.
Dr. Pervez has several publications & he presented many papers at home and abroad.
